What graphic design outsourcing is good at, and what it is not
Outsourced design works extremely well for volume and consistency: campaign variants, social assets, sales collateral, presentation systems, packaging adaptations, localisation of existing creative. Work with a clear reference point and a repeatable standard.
It works less well as a substitute for brand strategy. If nobody has decided what the brand is, an external team will produce competent executions of an undecided idea, and the review cycles will be brutal.
The practical test is whether you can articulate what "right" looks like. If you can point to existing work and say why it is correct, outsourcing will scale it. If you cannot, the first engagement should be a small definition project rather than a production pipeline.
