Brand identity proofs, color swatches and business cards laid out on a dark table

/Creative & Branding

Branding services for brands that won't be another.

Most brands in your category look the same. We build the identity and the launch creative that make yours the one people remember, and we build the site it lives on.

Creative that
earns its place
in the budget

A brand is more than a logo. It's the first impression, the thing people remember, and every place they meet you after that. Good branding makes all of those feel like the same company.

We start by looking at your category: what competitors look like, what they say, and the patterns everyone follows. Then we design a visual identity that breaks those patterns on purpose, while staying true to what you actually do.

Because we're also engineers, the work doesn't stop at a PDF of guidelines. We carry the brand into your website and product and the launch campaign, so what customers see is what we designed.

What we create

Visual Identity

Logo, color, type and the visual rules that make you recognizable in every channel.

Brand Guidelines

Guidelines and templates your team can use without calling us.

Campaign Creative

Launch and campaign creative for social, display and print, built around one clear idea.

Art Direction

Direction for photography, illustration and video, so every asset looks like it came from the same brand.

Motion Design

Animated logos, short social videos and motion graphics that keep the brand consistent when it moves.

Brand Collateral

Pitch decks, packaging, templates and print, all designed to the same system.

Who this is for,
and who it isn't

This fits companies launching a new brand, outgrowing one that was made in a hurry, or entering a new market where the old look doesn't land. It works best when the identity, the website and the launch are planned together.

It isn't a fit if you only need a logo file by Friday. Brand work takes research and rounds of feedback. And if your current brand is recognized and working, a refresh usually beats a rebrand. We'll tell you which one you need.

How a branding project works

01

Strategic foundation

Positioning, a look at your competitors and your audience, and a creative brief everyone agrees on.

02

Concepts

We explore several creative directions and show them side by side before committing to one.

03

Design

We refine the chosen direction into finished assets: logo versions, color, type and visual elements.

04

System

We turn the identity into guidelines, templates and an asset library your team can use.

05

Launch

We apply the brand to the site, the campaign and the launch materials, and stay on if you need ongoing creative.

Frequently asked questions

What do your branding services include?

A full project covers positioning, the visual identity (logo, color, type and imagery), brand voice, and guidelines with templates your team can use. We deliver every asset in the formats you'll need for web, print and social. Because we also build websites, we can carry the identity straight into your site and launch campaign instead of handing it to another agency.

What's the difference between brand strategy and brand identity?

Brand strategy decides what you stand for and who you're for: your positioning, what makes you different and the messages that prove it. Brand identity is how that looks and sounds: logo, color, type, imagery and voice. Strategy comes first, because an identity built without it is just taste. Our branding services cover both, so the design choices trace back to a reason you can explain to your team.

Can you refresh an existing brand without starting over?

Yes. A refresh keeps what customers already recognize and fixes what's holding you back, such as a dated logo, too many colors or a website that doesn't match the rest. It's usually faster and cheaper than a rebrand. We start by working out what people already associate with you, so the update doesn't throw that away.

Do we get brand guidelines and source files?

Yes. Every identity project ends with guidelines covering logo use, color, type, imagery and tone of voice, plus an organized library of logo versions, templates and source files. We write the guidelines for the people who'll use them, so a new designer or marketer can get it right without having to ask us.

How do you make sure we don't look like our competitors?

We audit your category before designing anything: the colors, symbols, phrases and photo styles everyone uses. Then we decide which conventions to keep, so buyers still know what you sell, and which ones to break so they remember you. Every direction we present comes with the reasoning, so you're choosing on more than taste.

Can you also make the launch campaign?

Yes. We handle it from concept to finished assets, including art direction for photography, motion design, social content, print and digital ads. Doing the identity and the launch together keeps them consistent, and it means the first campaign is designed by people who already know the brand inside out, not a new team learning it from a PDF.

How long does a branding project take?

It depends on scope. A refresh of an existing identity is shorter than a new brand built up from positioning, and adding a website or a launch campaign extends it. We set the timeline with you at the start, with dates for each round of concepts and feedback, so you know when decisions are needed from your side.

Do we own the files and the rights?

Ownership of the final identity and its files is written into the agreement before work starts, so there's no doubt about it later. Ask us about it on the first call. Where a project uses licensed fonts or stock images, we'll tell you which licenses you need and who holds them, so nothing surprises you after launch.

Looking like
everyone else?

Tell us about your brand. We'll tell you honestly whether it needs a refresh, a rebrand or neither.
